What is Bucknell Maths? |

Bucknell
Maths does not attempt to 'teach' mathematical concepts as we see this as
the remit of schools and teachers. The purpose of Bucknell Maths is to provide
unlimited practice questions in any given topic. You can see sample pages
in the Examples section. These questions can be generated across a whole range
of mathematical topics but because the programs use randomly generated numbers,
dimensions, object names etc., a fresh sequence is obtained each time. This
means that if the exercises are used for assessment purposes they will be
completely new to the pupil on each occasion.
Currently the system contains approximately 2,500 exercises across Years 1 to 6, with the capability of generating a virtually unlimited number of questions. The questions are matched to the NNS and cover all aspects of it that can realistically be tackled on screen.
